I promised a new summer dress by the beginning of October.
Well the prototype one has been floating around here for a while. I have had trouble though making the dress comfortable and a little adjustable.

After a few refits it would seem we are on a roll. This gorgeous new dress is made from bright summer fabrics and it is light and cool. The gorgeous bow in the back adds a  bit of flair but also serves to make the dress adjustable. It also includes elastic in the back to allow comfort and the perfect fit for your child. Katie is modelling all three colours, Orange, Purple and Green in her size. You can place an order on the website for your favourite fabric in any size from 1 to 5.

I have decided to name the dress after a very special person in our lives who recently lost her fight with brain cancer. Hilarie (Hillie to us, especially the kids) was a gorgeous fun loving mum who enjoyed the outdoors, the sun and being bright and happy. I feel this dress represents all those qualities I loved most in her, her joy, her zest for life, her energy and her love of bright colours and the outdoors.

We are also making the Hillie Summer Dress in a red and white pattern for Christmas. Look out for it in the next few weeks, along with out Christmas Sleep Short Sets and some great Christmas packages. Bring it on, we love Christmas here. Until then enjoy the sunshine with your families.
